Open Mike Poetry Reading
August 17
The Silverton Poetry Association will sponsor a free open mic
poetry reading on Sunday, August 17, at 2 p.m. in the
classroom of the Silverton Arts Center in Coolidge-McClain
Park. All are welcome to share their own or other poems or
just to listen and enjoy the art of poetry.
Tree Poems
August 16 & 17
Inspired by the love poems to Rosalind that Orlando hangs on
trees in the Forest of Arden in Shakespeare's "As You Like
It," The poems found on tree trunks throughout
Coolidge-McClain Park are a Fine Arts Festival tradition
contributed by members of the Silverton Poetry Association.
